The Diploma in Graphic Design (DGD) programme aims to produce graduates with competitive knowledge, principles and skills in terms of theoretical and practical foundation in Graphic Design. Diploma in Graphic Design (DGD) graduates will learn essential skills in design through different platforms and under various conditions in term of graphics, preparing them to thrive in their future endeavour. Lifelong learning skills integrated into its courses and evaluation exercise with the emphasis on critical thinking skills and personal excellence.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  1. A pass in SPM with a minimum of three (3) credits in any subject, or its equivalent;
        OR
  2. A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subject, or its equivalent;
        OR
  3. A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul in any subject, or its equivalent;
        OR
  4. A pass in SKM Level 3 / Sijil Vokasional Malaysia (SVM) in a suitable field (Note: The HEPs are to conduct screening and provide necessary guidance specific to the discipline of the programme);
        OR
  5. A Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in a related field with minimum CGPA of 2.00 or its equivalent;
        OR
  6. Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.
        AND
  7. Pass an interview (online / virtual / conventional) OR submission of student’s portfolio, to be determined by the HEP as required.

    * A student has to acquire 92 credit hours to complete this programme.
